New members of the Ocean City Sports Hall of Fame will be inducted on November 19th during ceremonies in the Hughes Memorial Auditorium in the high school.

The new members will join 57 athletes, 15 coaches, two contributors and 13 teams already inducted. You can see them all HERE.

To be eligible as an athlete, five classes must graduate after your graduation. A team is eligible when five more seasons in that sport are concluded after its season. Coaches are eligible as soon as they retire. And contributors are eligible at any time.

The online nomination form is HERE. Please submit it before August 1st. If you nominate more than one candidate, you must submit a form for each one. Some people who are on the final ballot but not selected for induction are automatically included on the next year’s ballot.

Last year’s inductees were athletes Joe Avis (Class of 1950), Josh Baker (1994), MaryJo Dougherty (1988), John Huff (1969), Danielle McNally (2010), Charles Mumford (1963) and Amanda Nunan (2017); Coach Paul Baruffi; contributor Paul LeFever; and the 2012-13 girls basketball team.
